Papworth Hospital  NHS Foundation Trust

Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a specialist tertiary referral centre. Our specialist areas include Cardiac and Thoracic surgery, Cardiology, Transplantation (heart and /or lungs) and Respiratory Medicine (including Cystic Fibrosis and specialised respiratory support).

This Trust does not provide any Cancer Chemotherapy treatment, therefore the NICE technology appraisals (TA) relating to cancer chemotherapy are not applicable.  Other TA may also not be relevant to our work.   For further information on our adherence to NICE TA recommendations, please click on the “NICE TA Checklist” grey button above.  This is updated every two months.

Some links on this website (such as clinical guidelines, medicine charts and forms) are for Trust Users only and are not accessible from outside the Papworth Hospital Intranet.  Clicking on these links from outside the Intranet will lead to an error message.

All NHS Trusts in Cambridgeshire are working with Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG to develop a joint formulary. This will establish a collective strategic approach to prescribing and medicines management issues across the Cambridgeshire Health Community; in relation to the safe, clinical and cost effective use of medicines. This version of NetFormulary will not be updated whilst the transition to the new Cambridgeshire Joint Formulary is taking place.

For further information please call Medicines Information on 01480 364179, or use the feedback tab at the top of this page.
